Projects
During her PhD research (Agricultural University Wageningen) and the following four years (Leiden University and Nijmegen University) Marinette van der Graaf studied the conformation of biomolecules by multi-dimensional heteronuclear NMR. Since June 1995 she is working at the Department of Radiology of the Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Center as a member of the MR spectroscopy group of Prof. Heerschap. Until December 1999 she worked on a project involving MRS and dynamic Gd-enhanced MRI of the human prostate focused on the detection and identification of prostate cancer. From January 2000 till January 2003 she worked on the INTERPRET project in which she was involved in the acquisition of proton MR spectra of brain tumors and MRS quality control. Presently she is involved in the projects mentioned below.
Since September 2008 Marinette works for 0.8 fte in the group of Dr. Chris de Korte at the Clinical Physics Laboratory of the Departement of Paediatrics, where she performs functional research using MRI and MRS methods. In addition, she is still part-time (0.1 fte) employed by the Department of Radiology.
