Welcome to the Department of Radiology at the Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre

The scientific research in the Department of Radiology is patient oriented, initiated on the one hand by developments and demands in patient care, and on the other driven by new insights generated by fundamental research. The department’s research must lead to clinically relevant applications, in short: from bench-to-clinic-to-population (translational research). The Department of Radiology’s ambition is to be in the top echelon in both fundamental as well as clinical areas.

The scientific research structure falls within the UMC St Radboud's main research program theme (Functional Imaging) (Oncology) and within the department’s focus on MRI/MRS.
